OSAGE CITY — Dolores Nadine Croucher, Osage City, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022, at Osage Nursing, Osage City. She was 91.

She was born March 11, 1931, in Lindsborg, the daughter of Ernest and Alice (Balocca) Didier. Dolores lived all of her life in the Osage City community. She graduated from Osage City High School in 1949.

Dolores was united in marriage to Glenn Dale Croucher Feb. 27, 1949, in Lyndon. He preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 2014.

She worked in the fabric department at Ben Franklin, Osage City, for many years. She was a very talented seamstress, and a homemaker.

Dolores was a lifelong member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She was also a member of the St. Patrick Altar Society and the Osage Public Library Board. She belonged to several community ladies’ clubs, and she volunteered for multiple area organizations.

She is survived by her four children, Richard Croucher (Marty), Topeka, David Croucher (Cheri), Michigan Valley, Gregg Croucher (Cheryl), Osage City, and Alisa Hart (Britton), Emporia; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her sister, Mary Ann Stephenson (L.J.), Topeka.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Osage City. A parish rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at the church, where family will then receive friends until 8 p.m. Inurnment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Osage City, will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church or Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS 66451.
