TOPEKA — Charles Glen Masters, 72, Topeka died Thursday, April 14, 2022.

He was born Dec. 3, 1949, in Topeka, the son of Robert “Swede” and Shirley (Welch) Masters. He grew up in Burlingame, and continued to stay connected to his hometown.

Glen was retired from Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.

He was married to Mary (Dorr) Masters.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert “Bob” Masters Jr. and Tony Masters.

He is survived by his wife; one brother, Pat Masters; and his nieces and nephews.

Honoring Glen’s request, cremation is planned. No services are scheduled at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Schuyler Museum, P.O. Box 74, Burlingame, KS 66413,  where Glen volunteered and where the Swede and Shirley Masters’ family collection of Native American artifacts are displayed.
