BURLINGAME — Jane A. Roth, Burlingame, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, at her home. She was 81.

She was born March 26, 1940, in Topeka, the daughter of Hayden and Nadine (Morgan) Buek. She grew up in Burlingame, graduating from Burlingame High School with the Class of 1958.

Jane traveled all over the country. She worked for Consolidated Electric Distributors, Houston, Texas, retiring after 33 years, and then moved back to her hometown of Burlingame to care for her mother.

Even in retirement, Jane was very active in the community. She volunteered at the Schuyler Museum, Meals on Wheel and the Burlingame Library until her health declined, and she was no longer able to.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents; her two beloved sons, Leslie Roth and Ronnie Roth; her two sisters, Beverly Hoffer and Carolee Henderson; and her brother, Gary Buek.

She is survived by her very best friend and caretaker, Judith Renee Bailey; two grandchildren, Leslie Roth and Debra Roth; a niece, Pam Sims (Jerry); four nephews, Richard Buek, John Buek, William Buek and Brad Buek; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Buek.

“Jane, I will miss your smile and the long talks we had, and your great outlook on life. That is why I believe that you survived for so long after the prognosis. I love you, Jane. Fly high until we meet again.” — Judith

Per Jane’s request, there will be no services.
