TOPEKA — James T. Carroll, Eudora, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021, at Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka. He was 40.

He was born Jan. 22, 1981, in Topeka, the son of Gary and Jane (Oliver) Carroll. He grew up in the Burlingame area, graduating from Burlingame High School in 1999.

James was united in marriage to Nichole Enneking Oct. 17, 2009, in Topeka. They later divorced.

He worked at Huhtamaki, Inc., Desoto, for 15 years as a forklift operator.

James was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tom Oliver, and his grandparents, Elsie and Truman Carroll.

He is survived by his parents, Gary and Jane Carroll, Burlingame; his sister, Ashley Artzer (Jake), Topeka; his grandmother, Gloria Oliver, Burlingame; his two children, who were the love of his life, daughter, Anistyn Carroll, and son, Camden Carroll, both of Eudora; and a nephew, Jase, Topeka.

Private services were held, and James was laid to rest at Burlingame Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Carroll Children’s Education Fund and sent in care of Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O. Box 194, Burlingame, KS 66413.
