OSAGE CITY — Sharolet Kay Freeman died Monday, April 20, 2020, at Stormont Vail Hospital, Topeka, with her daughter by her side. She was 74.

Sharolet was born Oct. 5, 1945, in Chase County, the daughter of Robert and Catherine Waner Hannigan. She graduated from Northern Heights High School.

She married Max Freeman Nov. 30, 1963, in Osage City. He survives of the home. To this union two children were born, Tina and Max, Jr..

Sharolet was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her world.

She worked at Osage Nursing and Rehab and Hallmark Cards.

Sharolet was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Pat, Jerry and Jim Hannigan.

Besides her husband, she will be forever remembered by a daughter, Tina Beckwith and husband, Lonnie, Topeka; a son, Max Freeman Jr., Topeka; a sister, Rose Williamson, Osage City; and a grandson, Corey Roberts and wife, Danielle, Lawrence.

Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association and sent in care of VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N. Sixth St., Osage City, KS 66523.
