MARKESAN, Wis. — Brandon Scott Burdick, Markesan, Wis., passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024, at his home, in the loving arms of his wife. He was 42.

He was born Oct. 16, 1982, the son of Jeff Burdick and Lori Croucher.

Brandon was united in marriage to Amy Fingard Sept. 16, 2016, in Brighton Colo.

He was a terminal manager at Watco and more recently delivered meals on wheels in the local area.

Brandon had a love for salt water fish. He enjoyed playing video games with his son and loved exploring nature with his daughter.

He was known for his mechanical abilities; he could build or fix anything. His true skill lay in the artistry of his wood and laser engraving and repurposing items he shared with friends and family. Brandon had a big personality and loved to make others laugh. His family was the most important thing in life, and he was loved by everyone who knew him.

Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Darrell (Beverly) Welsch and Gene Croucher, and his paternal grandfather, Gary Burdick.

He is survived by his wife, Amy Burdick; his daughter and son, Remington and Mack Burdick; his parents, Jeff Burdick (Stacey) and Lori Dishman; his aunts, Melissa Droege (Chad), Staci Mundy (Geody), and Debra Keller; numerous cousins; his paternal grandmother, Sue Burdick; his parents-in-law, Howard (Julie) Fingard; his sister-in-law, Jennifer Cooper (Kenny); his nephews, Sterling and Julian Cooper; and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be noon Nov. 9 at Ridge Iron Grill, 611 Market Street, Osage City.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Brandon Burdick Benefit account, and sent in care of Horicon Bank, 825 N. Margaret St., Markesan, WI 53946.
