OSAGE CITY — Reba Jean Olson, Osage City, died Wednesday, April 27, at the Osage Nursing Center, Osage City. She was 90.

She was born Dec. 18, 1931, on the family farm near Rapp, the daughter of Constantine T. and Mary Viola Bauman Lindbloom. She attended Rapp School before entering Osage City High School, where she graduated with the Class of 1950.

Reba married the love of her life, George Leland Olson, May 29, 1950, at her parents’ home. They made their home in Osage City, and went into business together. They first owned and operated Olson-Long Garage, and later Ole’s Garage, where Reba kept all the books. The two worked side by side for four decades before retiring in 1992.

She was a lifelong member of the Stotler Evangelical Covenant Church, and continued to attend after the church moved to Osage City and became Community Covenant Church. Other community endeavors included many years as a member of the Red Hatters and Club 15.

Reba was preceded in death by her loving husband, Oct. 9, 2013; her parents; and four brothers, Alvoid, Gerald, Elvis and Allen.

She will live on in the hearts and memories of her daughters, Mica Bohannan (Loel), Winfield, Vickie Gragg (Lynn), Osage City, and DeAnn Watson (John), Osage City; a son, Robert Olson (Pam), Osage City; two brothers, J. Glenn Lindbloom (Fay), Marceline, Mo., and Vernon Lindbloom (Mary Alice), Wichita; eight grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; 10 great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous extended family and friends.

Memorial services were 11 a.m. Monday, May 2, at the Community Covenant Church, Osage City. Inurnment followed at Rapp Cemetery.
