LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — Norma Rose Moran, Lee’s Summit, Mo., formerly of Admire, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, at St. Luke’s East Hospital, Lee’s Summit. She was 87.

She was born Jan. 25, 1935, in Osage County, the daughter of Charles Chester and Olive

Viola (Stout) Milbradt.

Norma married Robert Eugene Moran May 31, 1953, in Lawton, Okla. He died Jan. 8, 2010, in Topeka. She was a homemaker, and then later worked as an aide for USD 251 North Lyon County. She was a member of the Admire Methodist Church and Busy Bee Club.

In addition to her husband, Norma was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Keith Milbradt.

Norma is survived by her daughters, Rhonda White, Lee’s Summit, Mo., Diana “Jeannie”

Whittington, Kansas City, and Linda Turney, Emporia; her grandchildren, Justin White, Lauren White, Caroline Zhang, Tarah Whittington, Tim Whittington, Devon Spears, Jessica Willey, Trevor Turney, Paige Turney and Mikayla May; and her great-grandchildren, Oliver White, Eliza White, Madeline White, Otis Zhang, Trinity Heavner, Gabriel Heavner, Christian Heavner, Ethan Willey and Ayden Willey.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, at the Federated Church, Burlingame, with burial following at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Admire. Visitation was 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia.
