OSAGE CITY — Michael “Mike” Stephen Brewer, Osage City, went to his Lord in heaven Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022. He was 70.

He was born July 19, 1951, in Waxahachie, Texas, the son of Albert Quillen and Jacquillen Joyce (Johnson) Brewer. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1969 to 1974.

Mike was a born-again Christian and a member of Countryside Baptist Church, Osage City. He was a trustee of the church at the time of his passing.

He is survived by his wife, Susan, of 42 years; his mother, Joyce; his sister, Cindy; two children, Mike and Londa (Joe); four stepchildren, Catherine (Randall), Bill, Chris (Carey), and Matt; 10 grandchildren, Chelsea (David), Alex (Mark), Riley (Wes), Madison, Chris, Matt, Shay, Jacob, Nicholas and Lauren; one great-granddaughter, Gracy; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at the Countryside Baptist Church, Osage City. Inurnment will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Countryside Baptist Church, 24608 W. Hwy. K170, Osage City, KS 66523.
