TOPEKA — R. Dean Ketterman, 64, Topeka, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021.

He was born July 17, 1957, in Neodesha, the son of Charles Junior and Mary Jo (Colhouer) Ketterman.

Dean was employed by Standard Heart Printing and also worked construction.

He married Vickie Porter Dec. 21, 1974, in Topeka.

Dean enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles.

Dean is survived by his wife, Vickie; his sons, Jason Porter, Topeka, and Cliff Ketterman, Scranton; his grandson, Noah Porter; his mother, Mary; and his brother, Mike.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of the Central States, 2400 Troost Ave., Suite 4300, Kansas City, MO 64108-9736.

Dove Cremations and Funerals Southwest Chapel is assisting the family.
