OSAGE CITY — Karon K. (Beam) Baker, 75, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021, at Osage Nursing Center, Osage City.
She was born May 5, 1946, in Topeka, the daughter of Ward and Ann Mary (Hackel) Beam.
Karon graduated from Mayetta High School in 1964, and had lived most of her life in the Burlingame community. She was a homemaker most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ward and Ann; her three brothers, Don Beam, Ward Beam and Steve Beam; and her sister, Vickie (Coffman) Beam.
Karon is survived by her four sons, Bud Baker (Karen), Mountain Home, Ark., Rodney Baker (Karen), Lowell, Ark., Jimmy Baker (Ami), Osage City, and Travis Baker (Leona), Siloam Springs, Ark.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Karon was cremated. Private family services will be held at the Richland Cemetery, Richland.
