CARBONDALE — Bradley “Brad” Joseph Padilla, 33, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2021, at his home in Carbondale.

He was born Oct. 12, 1987, in Topeka, the son of Louis Padilla and Tammy Harrison. He graduated from Santa Fe Trail High School with the Class of 2006. He worked as a salesman at Famous Footwear and a farmhand for Clint Lispcomb.

Brad enjoyed being outside, coaching wrestling and baseball, and being part of the Santa Fe Trail Trailhands Wrestling Club. He was also a talented painter, and he loved traveling and being with his family. He will be remembered by everyone as someone who always knew how to enjoy life.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Tammy Harrison, and his maternal grandfather, Eugene Harrison.

Brad is survived by his father, Louis Padilla, Carbondale; two brothers, Martin and Travis Padilla, Carbondale; a sister, Lizza Padilla, Carbondale; his maternal grandmother, Pat Harrison, Eureka; his paternal grandparents, Peter and Nina Mendoza, Carbondale; a nephew, Lil Marty Padilla, Carbondale; and a niece, Avery Padilla, Carbondale.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept, 11, at Grace Community Church, Overbrook. The family will greet friends at 10:30 a.m., prior to the service. Burial will be at Carbondale Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Brad Padilla Memorial Fund and sent in care of Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O. Box 268, Overbrook, KS 66524.
