TOPEKA – Jennifer Anessia Simons, 50, Osage City, died Thursday, April 29, 2021, at a Topeka hospital.

She was born Sept. 19, 1970, in Belle Plaine, the daughter of Jeannie Wingert and Mike Tyson.

Jennifer is survived by her parents, Jeannie Wingert (John) and Mike (Terry) Tyson; her three children, Victoria Magwire (Darrell), Austin Simons and Payton Simons; her high school sweetheart, Branon Genette; her grandchildren, Braelynn and Daniel Magwire; her siblings, Bridgitte Peterson (Howard), Natasha Shelton (Zach), Michael Tyson, Heather Walcher, Sheri Casade and Kristeen Jones; and numerous aunts, uncles and friends.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, at Belle Plaine Cemetery. There will be a light luncheon for friends and family after the service at the Community Center, 528 N. Merchant St., Belle Plaine.
