TOPEKA — Kerry Allan Marsh, Topeka, took the hand of his Lord Jesus Christ Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, after two weeks of hospitalization. He was 69.

He was born Feb. 22, 1951, in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Myrle and Grace Marsh, followed by a brother, Bruce Marsh and a sister, Tammy Forbes (Don), Carbondale. Kerry moved to Overbrook, in 1967 graduating from Overbrook High School in 1969 (Go gophers).

He married Deana Luchelle Wiseley Oct.19, 1973, at Scranton Methodist Church. She survives.

In 2015 he retired from Ellena Honda, in Lawrence, after 35 years in the service department. A special thanks goes out to the ICU nurses at Stormont Vail for his wonderful care.

Sports, study of military history and target shooting were among his interest as well as his love for his family and the family dog Zoey.

Kerry was a member of Wanamaker Nazarene church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Merle and nieces, Genna and Sophie.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother, Grace Marsh, Inman; two son, Cory (CJ) Marsh (Lisa), McKinney, Texas, and Shane Marsh, Topeka; and three grandchildren, Jude, Hayden and Stella; and many relatives and friends who will miss him and his stories.

Services will be10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at Wanamaker Nazarene Church, 3501 SW. Wanamaker Rd., Topeka, KS 66614.
