TOPEKA — Mittchell Allen Elmore, Topeka and formerly of Lyndon and Wellington, died Dec. 11, 2020, at Topeka Center for Rehab and Healthcare, Topeka. He was 63.

Mittchell was born Oct. 15, 1957, in Wellington, the son of Leonard Corbett and Barbara Dawn (Hill) Elmore. He grew up in Lyndon and graduated from Lyndon High School in 1975.

Mittchell was a machinist by trade and worked most of his life for Plessey Aero Precision Corporation, in Wellington, as an aircraft machinist. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, listening to music, working on classic cars and motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mittchell is survived by two sisters, Linda Griffin (Jim), Tecumseh, and Debi Cox (Tom), Overland Park; his stepmother, Virginia Elmore, Vassar; and his nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Mittchell will be laid to rest in Vassar Cemetery. No services are planned at this time due to COVID-19.

Memorial contributions may made to Heartland Hospice and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS 66451.
