Clyde Leroy Trebbe

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Clyde Leroy Trebbe died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020, peacefully in his home, in Oklahoma City, Okla. He was 92.
He was born Jan. 27, 1928, the son of William and Gertrude Trebbe. Clyde worked in the coal mines from a young age to help support his siblings.
He joined the Navy at the end of World War II and saw the world from a cruiser, at times operating as the helmsman. Clyde later worked for Santa Fe Railroad for many years, before joining the labor union in Topeka. He retired from the union but continued to work well into his 70s.
Clyde married the love of his life, Caroll Casebier, in 1950 and they enjoyed 71 wonderful years together. She survives.
He was predeceased in death by a daughter, Kimberly Sue Watson.
Besides his loving wife, he is survived by two sons, Marc Trebbe and Bruce Trebbe, both of Oklahoma City, Okla., as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Clyde’s passion for life was his family, his work and fishing.
A memorial life celebration is planned for a later date, to be announced.
