Barbara D. Bradley

March 11, 1940 – Nov. 7, 2020

WAKARUSA — Barbara D. Bradley died Nov. 7, 2020. She was 80.

If you met her you would remember her. She was very sociable, caring, compassionate, knew no stranger and never missed a chance for a hug.

She raised dozen of children from birth to first grade, babysat, worked at Topeka St. Francis Penny Power, Topeka Capital Journal as a paper carrier, which she loved, with her husband Dan. Patrons were not very happy when she had to retire.

She would buy candy for children at the check out and loved to see their expression. She enjoyed the Prairie Pickers.

She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Alice Beebe, Robert G. Riniker Jr., and Daniel B. Bradley.

She is survived by a son, Gerald “Jerry Riniker, Wamego; a daughter, Janet Riniker, Wakarusa, a sister, Wanda McGinnis, Ottawa, and spouses; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two nephews; and two great nephews. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.

This world gave up an amazing person. She has left this world to go on to bigger and better things. Like a caterpillar to a butterfly, Barb, has grown her wings to fly.

A memorial service is pending at Wamego.

Midwest Cremation Society is assisting the family.
