In the biggest game of his career to date, Blake Treinen, Osage City native and Los Angeles Dodger pitcher, recorded a save in game five of the Major League Baseball World Series Sunday night, giving the Dodgers a 3-2 advantage over the Tampa Bay Rays. Treinen was called into the game in the ninth inning with his team up 4-2. He allowed a leadoff grounder to Manuel Margot. Treinen then retired the next three batters with a strikeout to Austin Meadows, a pop out to Joey Wendle and a strikeout to Willy Adames, sealing the save.
