TOPEKA — Robert G. Langley died Monday, Sept. 28, 2020, at Midland Hospice House, Topeka. He was 75.

He was born Jan. 22, 1945, in Pomona, the son of Lawrence and Dortha Todd Langley. He graduated from Pomona High School in 1963.

Bob grew up, most of his life, in Pomona. He was a camp host at lakes in Texas and Kansas in the last 12 years. He served six years in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1966 to 1972.

Bob was a flooring installer for 22 years with Marv’s Furniture and Carpets, Lyndon. In 1989, Bob owned and operated Arbor King Manufacturing where he manufactured tree spades for large trees. Bob was a member of Crosspoint Community Church, a ham radio operator since he was 10 years old and had his pilot license for small airplanes.

He married Margie Altom April 10, 1965, in Broken Bow, Okla. She survives of the home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Dortha; an infant daughter, Deborah Langley; four brothers, Jack, Elmerlee, Raymond and infant Dale Dean.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, L. Jeff (Andrea Robinson) Langley, Worcester, Mass.; a daughter, Leanna (Rex) Streeter, Overbrook; a brother, Dwight (Elaine) Langley, Ottawa; and eight grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4 at Feltner Funeral Chapel, Lyndon. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Crosspointe Community Church and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS 66451.
