BURLINGAME — Ryah Marie Brown, Burlingame, died Monday, Sept. 7, 2020, at her home. She was 19.

She was born Nov. 3, 2000, in Topeka, the daughter of Darren Brown and Heather (Bright) Norton. She graduated in 2019 from Mission Valley High School.

Ryah loved her school. She had a contagious smile and laughter, which would brighten your day. She also enjoyed watching cop shows on television and loved her pets, Sadie, Noelle and Sonny.

Ryah is survived by her parents, Heather Norton and husband, Brian, of the home, and Darren Brown and wife, Teresa, Ozawkie, five siblings, Colton Toy and wife, Tessa, Kansas City, Carter Toy, of the home, Lillian Brown, Circleville, Shayla Wright, Hawaii, and Skyler Miller, Manhattan; her grandparents, Sandy Bright, Findlay, Ohio, Ken and Sherry Bright, Clinton, Ark., Jerry and Carolyn Norton, Kerrville, Texas, Sharon Spencer, Osage Beach, Mo., and Sherry Brown, Garnett.

She was loved by all those who knew her and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Ryah was cremated and private services will be held by her family at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Helping Hands Humane Society and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 S.W. Sixth Ave., Topeka, KS 66603.
