BURLINGAME — Elizabeth “Becky” Rice, Burlingame, passed peacefully Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020. She was 71.

She was born Oct. 11, 1948, at Burlingame, the daughter of Louis and Lorena LeBlanc Joyce. She graduated from Burlingame High School in 1967.

She enjoyed making cakes, scrapbooking, genealogy, caring for and spending time with her grandchildren.

She married the love of her life, Howard Randy Rice, Feb. 10, 1968. They celebrated over 50 years of marriage. He survives of the home.

Besides her husband, she is survived by four beautiful children, Melissa Poor and husband, Dennis, Scott Rice and wife, Kim, Gigi Strohm and husband, Daryl and Rachel Johnson and husband, Shawn; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10 at Burlingame Federated Church, Burlingame. Private family inurnment, in Burlingame Cemetery, will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
