LINCOLN, Neb. — James McFarlane Mills, Burlingame, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was 92.

He was born Feb. 7, 1927, in Burlingame, the son of Charles and Jessie Mills.

James married Charlotte Ann Beverly Mills at Burlingame. He was retired and a member of Kansas State Alumni Association and Cereals and Grains Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Charles Mills; mother and father-in-law, Ella and Glen Beverly; and a sister, Sara Kukuk.

James is survived by two brother-in-laws, Jack Beverly and wife, Pam and Francis Kukuk and wife, Scotty; two daughters, Cindy Kadavy and Lauri Dennis; five grandchildren, Lexi and Nick Kadavy and Catlyn, Lina and Erin Dennis; a great-grandchild, Mayzie Tenpenny; and nephews, nieces and their families.

He was cremated in Lincoln, Neb. A memorial service is planned for Memorial Day weekend, in Burlingame.
