Mary Delores Rowe

TOPEKA — Mary Delores Rowe, Osage City, entered heaven Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019, at Plaza West Healthcare, Topeka. She was 88.

She was born May 27, 1931, in Trenton, Neb., the daughter of Sam and Mary Terell Cemer. She lived many years in Blair, Neb., and lived in Osage City, for the last 12 years.

Delores graduated from Trenton High School and worked in housekeeping at Crowell Memorial Home, Blair, Neb., until retiring after 35 years.

Delores married the love of her life, Charles Rowe, in 1953. He preceded her in death on Sept. 16, 1983.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Mary; two brothers, Sam Cemer Jr. and Rev. John Cemer; two sisters, Margie Makings and Lois Wilkins; and a grandson, Eric Terry.

Delores is survived by three children, Michael Rowe, Osage City, Linda Terry, Ogallala, Neb., and Penny Spinks, Lyndon; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 at Blair Nebraska Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Delores Rowe Memorial Fund and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS 66451.
