WICHITA — Marty Allen Renner, Wichita, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022, at a Wichita hospital from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. He was 48.

He was born Nov. 7, 1973, in Topeka, the son of William and Shirley (Gregory) Renner. He grew up in the Valencia community and graduated from Rossville High School in 1992.

Marty worked in construction most of his life. He lived in Topeka before moving to Wichita several years ago. He was currently employed by South Central Sealing and Paving.

He was united in marriage to Katie Paine in January 1999, in Wamego. They later divorced.

Marty was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Renner.

He is survived by his children, Tanner, Trey, Cameron and Ashtyne Renner, all of Topeka; his father, Bill Renner (Lorraine), Osage City; his sister, Penny Renner, Topeka; and his nephew and niece, Brandon and Brianna Clabaugh, both of Topeka.

Memorial services were 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at Piper Funeral Home, St. Marys. Interment was in Valencia Cemetery, Topeka.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Renner Children Educational Fund and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple St., St. Marys, KS 66536.
