QUENEMO – Diane Jean Berry, Quenemo, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022, at Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka. She was 61.<\/p>\n
She was born Jan. 27, 1961, in Topeka, the daughter of Erma (Redenbaugh) and Daniel Sipp Sr. She had lived in Pomona, Lawrence and Ottawa, but had lived in Quenemo most of her life. <\/p>\n
Diane had worked as a certified medical assistant at several nursing homes in Osage and Franklin counties. She was a cancer survivor, having beat breast cancer and ovarian cancer. <\/p>\n
She married Patrick Berry July 27, 1982, in Ottawa. They later divorced. To this union three children were born, Shannon, James and Kenneth.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Erma.<\/p>\n
Survivors include her three children, Shannon Lynn Korrea-Nelson, Kansas City, Mo., and James Matthew Berry and Kennth Ray Berry, both of Quenemo; her two sisters, Barbara McCurdy and Nancy Anderson, both of Quenemo; her brother, Daniel Sipp Jr., Michigan; and her granddaughter, Aniqua Taizee Nelson.<\/p>\n
Funeral services were noon Monday, Jan. 9, at Feltner Funeral Chapel, Lyndon. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Quenemo. <\/p>\n
