OVERBROOK \u2014 Shirley M. Lafferty, Burlingame, died Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Brookside Manor in Overbrook. She was 87.<\/p>\n
She was born Nov. 18, 1934, in Scranton, the daughter of Robert Eugene \u201cGene\u201d and Marie \u201cMary\u201d (Kivitter) Hall. She graduated from Burlingame High School in 1952. <\/p>\n
Shirley married Ben Stout in 1952. They later divorced. She married Elbert Eugene \u201cGene\u201d Lafferty March 29, 1974. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2006. <\/p>\n
She was a member of the Federated Church of Burlingame. She was primarily a homemaker and worked various retail position throughout her life. <\/p>\n
Shirley was also preceded in death by her only sister, Vivian Sneary.<\/p>\n
She is survived by her sons, Mike Stout (Terri), Scranton, and Greg Stout (Anne), Burlingame; her stepson, Steven Lafferty (Margie), Grandview, Mo.; four grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren. <\/p>\n
A private inurnment will take place at a later date.<\/p>\n
