OVERBROOK \u2014 Harry Michael “Mike” Prim died Saturday, April 23, 2022, at his home south of Overbrook. He was 65.<\/p>\n
He was born Feb. 28, 1957, in Topeka, the son of Harry and Ruby (York) Prim. He lived all of his life around the Overbrook community.<\/p>\n
Mike was born to be a farmer and cattleman, and that is what he did throughout his life. He worked for the Overbrook Livestock Commission for over 40 years.<\/p>\n
He married Kathy Robinson May 19, 2014, in Ottawa.<\/p>\n
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ruby.<\/p>\n
He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of the home; his son, Michael Prim, Overbrook; his daughter, Aubrie Ramsieser, Topeka; his stepson, Joshua Barrett, Baldwin; his stepdaughter, Tina Trout, Overbrook; his sister, Patty Cooper, Carbondale; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n
A celebration of life service will be 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at the American Legion Post in Overbrook. <\/p>\n
Memorial contributions may be made to the Anderson-Raible American Legion Post 239 or the Overbrook Historical Museum, and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS 66451. <\/p>\n
