TOPEKA \u2014 Mary Helen Fasse, Carbondale, died Monday, Dec. 27, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital, Topeka. She was 82.<\/p>\n
She was born Oct. 31, 1939, near Neosho, Mo., the daughter of Kenneth and Florence (Testerman) Ehrhart.<\/p>\n
Mary had lived in Emporia, then Topeka for eight years, before moving to Carbondale in 1970.<\/p>\n
She had worked as a dental assistant and had been a homemaker. She was a member of the Covenant Baptist Church and the Christian Motorcycle Association.<\/p>\n
Mary married Carroll Fasse Sept. 16, 1962, in Emporia. To this union, three children were born, Angela, Crystal and Eric.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her parents\u00a0and her\u00a0godmother, Doris Burden.<\/p>\n
Mary is survived by her husband, Carroll,\u00a0of nearly\u00a060\u00a0years; her three children, Angela Cowen, Burlingame, Crystal Cason (Chris), Topeka, and Eric Fasse,\u00a0Wichita; her sister, Beverly Williams, Wyandotte, Okla.; and her six grandchildren,\u00a0Chloe, Maya, Walker, Levi, Jacob and James.<\/p>\n
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31, at the Shawnee Center Cemetery, Wakarusa.\u00a0A celebration of life service will be 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at Covenant Baptist Church, Topeka.<\/p>\n
