CARBONDALE \u2014 Kathryn Kay Ortiz, 65, died Monday, July 12, 2021, at her home in Carbondale.<\/p>\n
She was born July 29, 1955, in Ainsworth, Neb., the daughter of Maynard and Shirley (Gossard) Dillon. <\/p>\n
Kathryn married Patrick Singer in October 1971, and they later divorced. She later married Doug Ortiz. <\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug, and an infant son, William Glen Singer. <\/p>\n
Kathryn is survived by a son, Shawn Singer (Ashley), Keenesburg, Colo.; two grandchildren, Hailey and Peyton Singer; a sister, Carolyn Kemble (Bryan), Carbondale; and her longtime friend, Loren Lett.<\/p>\n
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 17, at the Carbondale Cemetery. <\/p>\n
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice. <\/p>\n
