She was 76.<\/p>\n<p>She was born June 17, 1944, the daughter of Jose Lim\u00f3n and Maria Del Refugio Flores.<\/p>\n<p>Socorro was quite the entrepreneur. She owned and operated four Mexican restaurants, as well as an antique shop, in Scranton. Socorro was very driven and dedicated to her work, but her most precious work was being a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.<\/p>\n<p>She married Ed Pate, in 1965, in Belmont. He survives of the home. They shared over 55 years of marriage. To this union they shared two sons, Jay Ritchie and Patrick.<\/p>\n<p>She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Consuelo Romero.<\/p>\n<p>Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Jay Ritchie Pate (Sandra), Auburn, and Patrick Pate (Molly), Overbrook; two sisters, Rosario Litman and Amparro McDonald, both of Austin, Texas; three grandchildren, Jade, Wyatt and Jesse Pate; two step-grandchildren, Raven Silvers (Kourtnee) and Christopher Silvers; and two step great grandchildren, Theo and Saige.<\/p>\n<p>Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Barclay Cemetery, south of Osage City.<\/p>\n<p>Condolences may be expressed at www.feltnerfuneralhome.com.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Socorro Lim\u00f3n Pate June 17, 1944 \u2013 Nov. 26, 2020 KANSAS CITY \u2014 Socorro Lim\u00f3n Pate, Overbrook, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2020, in Kansas City.
