Bruce Tevis<\/strong><\/p>\n

March 11, 1958 \u2013 Oct. 5, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n

LYNDON \u2014 Bruce Tevis died Monday, Oct. 5, 2020, at his home in Lyndon. He was 62.<\/p>\n

He was born March 11, 1958, in El Paso, Texas, the son of Lee and Ira Taylor Tevis. Bruce lived most of his life in the Lyndon community. He graduated from Lyndon High School in 1976.<\/p>\n

Bruce worked most of his life in construction and was a crane operator for many years.<\/p>\n

He was preceded in death by a son, Jeremiah Tevis on Oct. 2, 2004; his parents, Lee and Ira; a sister, Nancy Abel; and a brother, Charles \u201cGene\u201d Tevis.<\/p>\n

Bruce is survived by a son, Jamison Tevis, Lyndon; a brother, Jimmie Tevis, Scranton; a sister, Linda Osborn, Carbondale; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.<\/p>\n

Bruce’s family will meet friends 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, at Feltner Funeral Chapel, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon. Inurnment will be in Melvern Cemetery at a later date.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
