Two families built guest houses out of unusual items for a television show to air soon.

\nFamilies prepare for TV debut<\/b><\/p>\n

LYNDON \u2014 County residents can expect to see local residents, the Edington family from Lyndon and the McFarland family from Osage City on A&E Network\u2019s subsidiary, FYI network\u2019s new television show \u201cYou Can\u2019t Turn That Into A House\u201d in the next couple of weeks. <\/p>\n

The show builds houses out of materials and things that typically wouldn\u2019t be used for construction. One show that already aired featured a home built from two abandoned school busses. <\/p>\n

Red Arrow Industries LLC (RAI) is the production company from Knoxville Tennessee that is handling the filming process. They expected to film nine episodes in and around the Kansas City area. <\/p>\n

Marc McFarland of Osage City was asked to be the contractor on the local projects.<\/p>\n
