The Herald-Chronicle regularly accepts and prints submitted stories, photos and information from correspondents and readers. To better facilitate this process, please follow the guidelines below that apply to your submission.<\/p>\n

Photo Submission<\/strong>
\nAll photos should be sent in at the highest resolution possible (200-300 dpi or better), in color and uncropped. Digital photos are preferred. Printed photos may be brought in for scanning; mailed photos will be returned with a self-addressed, stamped envelope.<\/p>\n

Photos should be taken with journalistic intent for the purpose of recording the event. Try to avoid posed or \u201csnapshot\u201d style pictures whenever possible. Please avoid writing or time stamps on photos \u2014<\/strong> they will be cropped out or removed.<\/p>\n

\nThe Herald-Chronicle accepts and prints community news events with relevance to Osage County and our nearby coverage areas.
\nPlease submit as much information about the event as possible. Answer the who, what, where, when, why and how, and provide enough information for an outsider to understand. Please include a daytime phone number(s) of people who we can reach for clarification and additional information.
