KANSAS CITY, MO — Ethan Hunter James Frisbie, Melvern passed away on Oct. 27 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He was 10 years old.

Ethan was born in Emporia, Kansas, on Nov. 30, 2013, the son of Chris and Denise (Sherrill) Johnson.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents Elma and Ted Lais.

Survivors include his parents, Chris and Denise Johnson, Melvern; brother Dylan Agin and his fiancé Victoria Cabrera, Emporia; and grandparents Rita and Marvin Farr, Emporia; and Dave and Nancy Johnson, Melvern.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 175, Emporia, KS, 66801.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1101 Neosho St., Emporia, Kansas, 66801. Family will receive friends 5 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, 605 State St., Emporia, Kansas, 66801.
