TOPEKA — Mary Helen Fasse, Carbondale, died Monday, Dec. 27, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital, Topeka. She was 82.

She was born Oct. 31, 1939, near Neosho, Mo., the daughter of Kenneth and Florence (Testerman) Ehrhart.

Mary had lived in Emporia, then Topeka for eight years, before moving to Carbondale in 1970.

She had worked as a dental assistant and had been a homemaker. She was a member of the Covenant Baptist Church and the Christian Motorcycle Association.

Mary married Carroll Fasse Sept. 16, 1962, in Emporia. To this union, three children were born, Angela, Crystal and Eric.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her godmother, Doris Burden.

Mary is survived by her husband, Carroll, of nearly 60 years; her three children, Angela Cowen, Burlingame, Crystal Cason (Chris), Topeka, and Eric Fasse, Wichita; her sister, Beverly Williams, Wyandotte, Okla.; and her six grandchildren, Chloe, Maya, Walker, Levi, Jacob and James.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31, at the Shawnee Center Cemetery, Wakarusa. A celebration of life service will be 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at Covenant Baptist Church, Topeka.

Memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Baptist Church (to help cover funeral expenses) and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 822 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS 66451.
