OVERBROOK — Wilma J. Kramer, 86, Carbondale, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, at Brookside Manor, Overbrook.

She was born Feb. 6, 1935, in Topeka, the daughter of Andrew and Thelma (Snethen) O’Brien. She grew up in Overbrook, attending school there.

Wilma married Edward Kramer Oct. 24, 1952, in Topeka. He preceded her in death June 18, 2018. Wilma and Ed enjoyed square dancing all over the state, and were members of the Friendship Squares. She was active with the United Methodist Women at the Overbrook United Methodist Church. Wilma and Ed enjoyed traveling and spending time with their grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and Jerry O’Brien.

Wilma is survived by a son, Edwin Kramer, Carbondale; four daughters, Joycelyn Roney (Sonny), Carbondale, Anne Stout (Greg), Burlingame, Kathy Nydegger (Jerry), Burlingame, and Diana Baldry (Richard), Topeka; a brother, Donald O’Brien, Topeka; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at Davidson Funeral Home, Topeka. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 at Overbrook Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association and sent in care of Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N. Kansas Ave., Topeka, KS 66608-1241.
