TOPEKA — James L. “Jim” Abendroth, Carbondale, died Monday, July 26, 2021, at the University of Kansas Health-St. Francis Hospital, Topeka. He was 76.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 31, at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, Osage City. Military burial honors to follow at Carbondale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 30, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or DAV and sent in care of VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N. Sixth St., Osage City, KS 66523.
