OSAGE CITY — Emma Pauline (Masters) Dorr, 99, died Monday, June 21, 2021, at her home in Osage City.

She was born Jan. 9, 1922, in Burlingame, the daughter of William and Jennie (Burns) Masters. She had lived in Osage City since 1980. She was a homemaker and had worked at Hallmark Cards in Osage City.

Emma was united in marriage to Earl Dorr Jr. Dec. 23, 1941, in Council Grove. To this union three children were born, Lyle, George and Gail.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, July 13, 2006; her son, George Dorr, Jan. 29, 1965; her four brothers, William Jr., Gilbert, Albert and Robert Masters; and her three sisters, Edna Renyer, Pearl Johnson and Irene Ryan.

Emma is survived by her children, Lyle Dorr (Marlene), Burlingame, and Gail Stromgren, Osage City; her four grandchildren, John Dorr, Maurene Brake, Stacey Snakenberg and Spencer Stromgren; and her six great-grandchildren.

Cremation is planned and a private family inurnment will take place at Osage City Cemetery.
