VASSAR — Fay M. Frey, 78, died Sunday, April 11, 2021, at her home in Vassar, surrounded by family.

Fay was born Jan. 25, 1943, in Denver, Colo., the daughter of Elton and Florence (Ridgely) Tefft. She grew up in Denver.

She was joined in marriage to Ralph Eugene Frey Aug. 21, 1964, in Colorado. To this union, six children were born: Amber, Donna, Derina, Cindy, Ronald and Matthew. Fay spent the majority of her life in Colorado before moving to Vassar.

Fay was a loving housewife and homemaker to her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a loving, kind, tolerant, nonjudgmental woman to everyone. She enjoyed having her grandchildren around and an occasional trip to the casinos. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Osage City.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 16, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Osage City, following by burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Osage City. Family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 15, with Rosary following at 7 p.m., at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CASA and sent in care of Van-Arsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N. Sixth St., Osage City, KS 66523. Condolences may be left for the family at VanArsdaleFS.com.
