TOPEKA — Marjorie Singer, Topeka, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021. She was 83.

She was born Jan. 30, 1937, at Topeka, the daughter of Thomas A. and Elsie Hotchkiss Black. She was raised on a farm southwest of Burlingame and graduated from Burlingame High School in 1955.

She married Robert G. Singer, Nov. 18, 1956. He survives at the home.

Marjorie worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield and was a joint owner of Singer Excavating Company Inc., Topeka. She is a member of Helping Hands Humane Society, Topeka, a former member of Burlingame Federated Church, Corinthian Chapter 181, O.E.S. Burlingame, and Western Hills Golf Club, Topeka.

A graveside inurnment service will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 12, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Topeka.
