David Roberts

TOPEKA — David Roberts, Topeka, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2020, at his home. He was 50.

David was born May 6, 1970, in Topeka, the son of Kenneth and Marilyn Atchison Roberts. He graduated from Burlingame High School in 1988 and from VoTech with a degree in automotive mechanics.

David worked at LKQ. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson with friends, and liked following the K-State Wildcats and Kansas City Chiefs.

He was a proud grandfather to Kaisley. David will be remembered for his smile, big heart, caring personality and willingness to put others first.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Roberts.

David is survived by two children, Corey Roberts (Danielle) and Allison Vandevord (Clifford); a granddaughter, Kaisley Vandevord; his father, Kenneth Roberts; three siblings, Glen Roberts (Belinda), Lori Roberts, and Sherry Hall (Brian); and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 S.W. Urish Road, Topeka. Inurnment will be at a later date in Burlingame Cemetery, Burlingame.

Memorial contributions may be made to Toys for Tots and sent in care of Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 S.W. Urish Road, Topeka, KS 66614.
