MELVERN — Dale Lee Wallace, Melvern, died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020, at his home in Melvern. He was 42.

He was born May 15, 1978, in Ottawa, the son of Raymond Lee and Lisa (Siege) Wallace. He graduated from Marais des Cygnes Valley High School in 1996.

Dale lived most of his life in Melvern, but lived for 10 years in Newton.

Dale had worked as a roofer most of his life. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed playing guitar and loved spending time with family and friends. He was a member of True Grace Church, Melvern.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Wallace and a son, Brody Ray Wallace.

Dale is survived by two daughters, Audrie Lee Wallace and Kaetlyn Louise Wallace and their mother, Amber Thompson, Hesston; a son, Tracer Ray Wallace and a daughter, Teigh Olson and their mother, Paige Schrader, Waverly; a daughter, Evelyn Leighlani Guilfoyle and her mother, Stephanie Guilfoyle; his mother, Lisa Hayes, Melvern; a brother, Ray Wallace, Austin, Texas; and three sisters, Jane Kitt and husband, Gary, Melvern, Suzan Ball, Richmond, and Dee Wallace, Overbrook.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Feltner Funeral Home, Lyndon. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
