HARVEYVILLE —Marie Cantrell, Harveyville, died Aug. 25, 2020. It is with profound sadness and deep love the family announced. She was 82.

Marie was born Nov. 9, 1937, in Wilmington, the daughter of Walter and Iva Reed.

She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and Wilmington Church of Christ held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed crafting, playing card games with family and friends and taking family vacations. Most of all she loved her family and her door was always open. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her children, Jan Marie Holmes, Jill Rene Ferguson, Paul Joseph Cantrell, Mark Edward Cantrell, Kent C. Cantrell and Julie Rhea Williams; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jim; four sisters, Joan, Dorothy, Donna and Laura; and many more that love her.

A Celebration of life will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1 at Wilmington Church of Christ. There will be a reception immediately following at Harveyville Community Center.

Flowers may be sent to Van Arsdale Funeral Chapel, 501 E. Third Ave., Eskridge KS 66423.
