BURLINGAME — Betty Anna Crook went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 30, 2020, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 67.

Betty was born Oct. 11, 1952, the youngest child of Carson Richards and Hazel (Carroll) Richards.

Betty married Gary Crook July 13, 1972. He survives of the home.

She attended Cross Road Community Church, Scranton, where she played the piano and was active in children’s ministries.

She taught in the Burlingame school district and retired in 2018, after teaching for 30 years.

While on this earth, Betty exhibited the joy of the Lord. She is now in the presence of the Lord where there is fullness of joy.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Mary Franklin.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Sarah McIntyre and husband, Nick; a son, Caleb Crook and wife, Rhonda; a daughter, Anna McIntyre and husband, Dan; eight grandchildren, Emily Shupe (Zach), Hannah McIntyre, Nathaniel McIntyre (Wasu), Ethan McIntyre, Molly McIntyre, Leah McIntyre, Alexandra Crook and Ella McIntyre; and a brother Tim Richards (Judy).

A graveside memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at Burlingame Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hand In Hand Hospice of Emporia or Cross Road Community Church, Scranton, and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS 66451.

The family requests face coverings and social distancing for those who wish to attend the service.
