ARKANSAS CITY — Vickie Lynn Schrader died Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, Okla. She was 68.

She was born Oct. 2, 1951, in Emporia, the daughter of Wayne Dale and Betty Mae Speakman Schrader Sr. She graduated from Osage City High School in 1969.

She worked as an office manager for Barnes Company, Inc.

She was preceded in death by her father; a sister, Penny Schrader; and a brother, Wayne D. Schrader Jr.

Vickie will be forever remembered by her mother, Betty Schrader, Osage City; two daughters, Tammy Holzrichter, Osage City, and Penny Brown, Concordia; two sons, Anthony James Jernigan, Lawrence, and Patrick Jernigan, Arkansas City; a brother, Edward Schrader, Osage City; two sisters, Cindy Sharpe, Gypsum, and Linda Robertson, Osage City; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Monday, June 8, at Osage City Cemetery, Osage City. Public visitation will be held 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 7, at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, Osage City.

Memorial contributions may be made to Vickie Lynn Schrader Memorial Fund, to be designated at a later date and sent in care of VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N. Sixth St., Osage City, KS 66523.
