OSAGE CITY — Thelma “Jeane” Lindburg died March 31, 2020. She was 79.

She was born Oct. 21, 1940, at Buffalo, Mo., the daughter of Clarence Zimmerman and Minnie Rhodelander Zimmerman. Jeane was reared in and attended school in Buffalo, Mo.

She was a past President of FOE Eagles 47 and a member of Eastern Star, in Weston, Mo., Lodge No. 196.

She married Edwin Lindburg Sept. 20, 1963, in Kansas City, Mo. He preceded her in death. The union between them combined three children. All survive her.

Jeane worked for Bremson Photo as a supervisor for 23 years. She also worked for Discount Rental, in Kansas City, Mo., and Myrtle Beach, S.C., for 11 years as a corporate member. She loved sewing, sports, playing cards and spending time with her family.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Minnie; eight brothers, John, Jack, Marvin, Lloyd, Floyd, Charlie, Claude and Hershel; and two sisters, Betty and Bethel.

She is survived by two daughters, Serena Bogart and husband, Michael Sr., Weston, Mo., and Cindi Hickman and husband, Jim, Federal Way, Wash.; a son, Danny Lindburg and wife, Dana, Taveras, Fla.; six grandchildren, Carrie, Ashley, Michael Jr., Brianne, Jennifer and Justin; eight great-grandchildren; an aunt, Wilma Tosatto, Independence, Mo.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jeane will be laid to rest, next to her husband, Edwin, in Osage City, with a small gathering on Saturday, April 4.

Due to the current situation we will be unable to have a public funeral but will have a Celebration of Life after the world has some normalcy. Jeane was known as being a loving matriarch.
