MICHIGAN VALLEY — Charles L. Brown died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019. He was 91.

He was born April 29, 1928, to George and Louella Kirkpatrick Brown. He served his country in Korea where he earned a Purple Heart and a Medal of Valor.

He met and then married the love of his life Dec. 14, 1952. They were blessed to celebrate their 67th anniversary together before his passing. Their love brought them seven children, 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

He held a variety of jobs before becoming a conductor for AT&SF Railroad, where he retired after 43 years.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. May 2 at Shelter 4 in the Michigan Valley area, on the north end of the dam at Pomona Lake near their home.
