OVERBROOK — Harry Michael “Mike” Prim died Saturday, April 23, 2022, at his home south of Overbrook. He was 65.

He was born Feb. 28, 1957, in Topeka, the son of Harry and Ruby (York) Prim. He lived all of his life around the Overbrook community.

Mike was born to be a farmer and cattleman, and that is what he did throughout his life. He worked for the Overbrook Livestock Commission for over 40 years.

He married Kathy Robinson May 19, 2014, in Ottawa.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ruby.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of the home; his son, Michael Prim, Overbrook; his daughter, Aubrie Ramsieser, Topeka; his stepson, Joshua Barrett, Baldwin; his stepdaughter, Tina Trout, Overbrook; his sister, Patty Cooper, Carbondale; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at the American Legion Post in Overbrook.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Anderson-Raible American Legion Post 239 or the Overbrook Historical Museum, and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS 66451.
