LAWRENCE — Matthew Glenn Voigt, 46, died Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at his home in Lawrence.

He was born Aug. 27, 1974, in Topeka, the son of Wayne Voigt and Karen Cain Pickett. He grew up in Tecumseh and Burlingame, where he had lived since 1984, graduating from Burlingame High School in 1992. He had lived in Lawrence for the last 15 years.

Matthew was a supervisor at General Dynamics Information Technologies, Lawrence. He was a member of the Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his mom and stepdad, Karen and John Pickett, Burlingame; his dad and stepmom, Wayne Voigt and Sharon Booth, Topeka; his brother, Wade Voigt, Lawrence; and his three stepsiblings, Kurt Pickett (Shelly), Topeka, Kim Hibbert (David), Auburn, and Keith Pickett (Lisa), Augusta.

Graveside services for Matthew will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12, at the Burlingame Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Burlingame Schuyler Museum or Burlingame Friends of the Library and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS 66451.
