Marilyn Sue Atchison-Roberts

BURLINGAME — Marilyn Sue Atchison-Roberts, Burlingame, gained her angel wings Oct. 12, 2020, at her home. She was 73.

She was born June 12, 1947, in Osage City, the daughter of Charles E. Atchison and lIa Geraldine Mundy-Atchison. She grew up in the Burlingame community and attended Burlingame schools.

She furthered her education into the nursing field for over 30 years. Starting her career at the opening of the Burlingame Nursing Home, in 1972, onto Rolling Hills and ending her career at Lexington Park Assisted Living.

She Married Kenneth Eugene Roberts June 10, 1966, in Scranton. He survives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Jaycob Mulanax; and two brothers, Timmy Atchison and Jeff Atchison.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Glen Roberts and wife, Belinda and David Roberts, both of Topeka; two daughters, Lori Roberts, Topeka, and Sherry Hall and husband, Brian, Berryton; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sherry Roberts and husband, Bill, Osage City; two brothers, Tug Atchison Jr. and wife, Darlene and Dean Atchison, both of Burlingame; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
